Home School Class with Steve Backshall (Wednesday mornings 9am)

Self isolating? I’m doing an online home school class on Wednesday, and the response has been immense… I’m going to set up a YouTube channel. Details will be on here ASAP. Also to include my friends on the other side of the world, let’s do 9am GMT (8pm Sydney time)? Please post some questions beforehand so I can root around the house for any teaching aids…. huge love to you all SB

Jamboree on the Internet (Friday 3rd April to Sunday 5th April)

Because Scouting never stops! Get ready to continue with Scouting from home with this Special Edition of JOTI from 3 to 5 April 2020!

This special JOTI will be both educational and fun, bringing Scouting to the homes of young people around the world. It will be a space for young people and Scouts to connect, learn and build friendships during this challenging time of social distance. It will be a mass mobilisation that seeks to engender a sense of unity throughout the Movement. https://www.jotajoti.info/

“Camp at Home” hosted by Northumberland Scouts (1st to 30th April)

Calling all young people from across Northumberland, the UK, and the Wider World. COVID-19 may have changed the way we do things, but it won’t stop Scouts camping! We’re organising a month-long Virtual Camp across April, from the 01/04-30/04/20. Ending with an attempt to set the world record for the Largest Virtual Camp on 30/04/2020, when we’d like as many people as possible to participate. Let’s go for 1 Million virtual Campers!
